About the Role

We're looking for a product designer who can turn complex financial data into beautiful, intuitive experiences. You'll be our first design hire, which means you'll shape not just our product, but our entire design culture.

You'll work directly with the founders, talk to customers weekly, and ship features that thousands of SaaS teams rely on every day. We move fast, iterate based on feedback, and aren't afraid to throw out a design if it's not working. Hard work, yes—but we also know when to close the laptop and grab a pint.

What You'll Do

→ Design end-to-end experiences for React web apps and React Native mobile
→ Create intuitive data visualizations—make millions of transactions feel simple
→ Build and maintain our design system from scratch (Tailwind CSS components)
→ Conduct user research and validate designs with real SaaS founders
→ Work hand-in-hand with engineers to ship pixel-perfect interfaces
→ Contribute to marketing site, branding, and overall visual identity
→ Prototype new features rapidly and experiment with bold ideas

What We're Looking For

→ 4+ years of product design experience (B2B SaaS preferred)
→ Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product work
→ Expert in Figma (components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping)
→ Experience designing data-heavy interfaces or dashboards
→ Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices and accessibility
→ Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and persuasively
→ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment

Bonus Points

→ Front-end coding skills (React, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript)
→ Experience designing for React Native or cross-platform mobile apps
→ Experience with data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3, etc.)
→ Worked at an early-stage startup (first design hire, wore many hats)
→ Motion design or microinteraction expertise
→ Understanding of SaaS metrics (MRR, churn, LTV) and Stripe payments

Design Philosophy

We believe design should be opinionated. Our current design language is brutalist and bold—inspired by Swiss typography and modern web brutalism.

But we're not dogmatic. The right designer will challenge our assumptions and push us to evolve. We care more about solving user problems than following trends.

Show us work that demonstrates strong visual craft, thoughtful interaction design, and a clear design perspective.

Compensation & Benefits

→ Salary: £100,000 - £130,000 based on experience
