These terms govern your use of Mowt. By using our service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Mowt.
The Service
Mowt is a subscription analytics platform. We connect to your Stripe account (read-only), analyze your revenue data, and show you metrics like MRR, churn, LTV, and forecasts.
We offer:
- Real-time dashboard access
- Mobile apps (iOS & Android)
- Team collaboration features
- Data exports (CSV, API)
We're constantly shipping new features. Your plan determines which features you can access.
Your Account
Account creation:
- You must be 18+ and authorized to represent your business
- Provide accurate information (company name, email, revenue tier)
- Keep your password secure
Your responsibilities:
- You're responsible for all activity under your account
- Don't share your login credentials
- Notify us immediately if your account is compromised
Stripe connection:
- You grant us read-only access to your Stripe data
- You can disconnect Stripe anytime (but Mowt won't work without it)
- We're not responsible for Stripe outages or API changes
Pricing & Payments
Billing:
- You're billed monthly or annually based on your chosen plan
- Prices are based on your MRR tier
- We'll notify you before charging a higher tier if you outgrow your current plan
7-day free trial:
- All plans include a 7-day trial
- No credit card required to start
- Cancel anytime during the trial for no charge
Refunds:
- We offer prorated refunds if you downgrade mid-billing cycle
- No refunds for annual plans after 30 days
- Contact support [at] mowt.com for refund requests
Payment processing:
- Handled securely through Stripe
- Failed payments result in service suspension after 3 days
- We'll email you before suspending your account
Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Violate laws or regulations
- Scrape or reverse-engineer our service
- Share your account with others outside your organization
- Use Mowt to compete with us (e.g., building a similar analytics tool)
- Upload malicious code or attempt to breach our security
Data accuracy:
- Mowt displays data from your Stripe account
- We're not responsible for incorrect data from Stripe
- If you see a discrepancy, check your Stripe dashboard first
Data Ownership
Your data:
- You own all data you provide to Mowt
- You own all data we generate from your Stripe account
- We don't claim ownership of your business metrics
Our data:
- We own the Mowt platform, code, and infrastructure
- Analytics insights we generate belong to you
- Aggregated, anonymous industry benchmarks belong to us
Termination
You can cancel anytime:
- Go to Settings → Cancel Account
- Your data gets deleted 30 days after cancellation
- You can export your data before canceling
We can terminate if:
- You violate these terms
- Your payment fails repeatedly
- You engage in fraudulent activity
- You abuse our support team
We'll give 30 days notice before terminating (unless for fraud/security reasons).
Service Availability
Uptime:
- We aim for 99.9% uptime (Business plan gets an SLA)
- Scheduled maintenance happens during low-traffic hours
- We'll notify you 48 hours before planned downtime
No guarantees:
- Mowt is provided "as is"
- We don't guarantee error-free operation
- We're not liable for downtime or data loss (keep your own backups)
Liability
Our liability is limited to:
- The amount you paid in the last 12 months
- We're not liable for lost profits, data, or indirect damages
- We're not responsible for Stripe API changes or outages
Your liability:
- You're responsible for your team's use of Mowt
- You'll indemnify us against claims arising from your use
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. If we make material changes:
- We'll email you 30 days in advance
- Continued use means you accept the new terms
- If you don't agree, cancel your account before the changes take effect

Disputes:
- We'll try to resolve issues informally first
- If that fails, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
- English law governs these terms
