Separate revenue churn from logo churn, split voluntary from involuntary, and see the dollars at risk before they leave.

Churn is not one number. Mowt tracks gross and net revenue churn alongside customer (logo) churn, and isolates involuntary churn from failed payments. You see not just that revenue left, but which kind, from which segment, and what is at risk next.

What it does

Built to answer real questions.

01

Gross vs net revenue churn

Track the revenue you lost and the revenue you recovered through expansion in the same view, so negative net churn is obvious when you have it.

02

Voluntary vs involuntary

Failed payments and dunning are separated from deliberate cancellations, because the fix for each is completely different.

03

Revenue at risk

Surface accounts in active dunning or with declining usage so you can act before the cancellation, not after.

04

Churn by segment

Break churn down by plan, region, or acquisition source to find where retention is actually failing.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between revenue churn and customer churn?

Customer (logo) churn counts how many accounts cancelled. Revenue churn measures the MRR those accounts represented. A single large account leaving barely moves logo churn but can dominate revenue churn. Mowt tracks both — see our churn rate guide.

Does Mowt separate involuntary churn from cancellations?

Yes. Failed payments and dunning are tracked separately from deliberate cancellations, so you can tell whether you have a product problem or a billing problem.

Can Mowt show negative net churn?

Yes. When expansion revenue from existing customers exceeds the revenue lost to churn, net revenue churn goes negative, and Mowt surfaces it clearly.

Can I see churn for a specific plan or region?

Yes. Churn can be segmented by plan, region, acquisition source, and other attributes to pinpoint where retention is weakest.
