ChartMogul Pricing Explained (2026): Real Costs at Every ARR Band
ChartMogul is free under $120K ARR. After that it prices by revenue band: Starter runs $69 to $849 per month billed monthly ($59 to $699 on annual billing), Pro runs $119 to $1,439 per month ($99 to $1,199 annual), and Enterprise starts at $19,900 per year above $10M ARR.
Annual billing saves roughly 17 percent, CRM Pro seats add $39 per user per month, and qualifying startups get $50 off per month for 12 months. Your tier upgrades automatically as your ARR grows.

That’s the whole model in one paragraph. The problem is that ChartMogul’s pricing page never shows it to you in one place. It shows a slider. You drag it to your ARR, a price appears, and every intermediate breakpoint stays hidden unless you drag through all eight positions and write them down.
So we did the next best thing: we pulled the full band table out of the pricing page source. Every number below is what the slider actually renders, not an estimate.
The band table ChartMogul never shows in full
Eight slider positions, two paid plans, monthly and annual prices for each. These figures come straight from the pricing page markup, so there’s no hedging needed on the intermediate rows.
| ARR band | Starter (monthly) | Starter (annual) | Pro (monthly) | Pro (annual) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Up to $120K | Free | Free | Free | Free |
| $120K to $500K | $69 | $59 | $119 | $99 |
| $500K to $1M | $119 | $99 | $209 | $174 |
| $1M to $1.5M | $165 | $139 | $299 | $249 |
| $1.5M to $3M | $295 | $245 | $539 | $449 |
| $3M to $5M | $459 | $379 | $839 | $699 |
| $5M to $7M | $619 | $499 | $1,139 | $949 |
| $7M to $10M | $849 | $699 | $1,439 | $1,199 |
| Above $10M | Enterprise, from $19,900/yr |
The annual column is the effective monthly price when you pay for a year upfront. Note that the widely quoted “$59 Starter” is the annual-billing entry price. Pay month to month and the same plan is $69.
Two things jump out of the table. First, Starter is not a cheap plan for long: it multiplies more than 12x between the first paid band and the last. Second, Pro tracks at roughly 1.7x Starter in every band, so the plan gap widens in absolute dollars as you grow. At $500K ARR the difference is $50 a month. At $10M ARR it’s $590.
How ChartMogul measures your ARR
ChartMogul calculates your ARR from the billing data you connect, as the annualized value of your active recurring subscriptions. It’s the same normalized run-rate logic covered in our MRR versus ARR guide: recurring plans converted to a monthly value, times 12. One-time charges don’t count toward your band.
The part that surprises people is what happens when you cross a breakpoint. Per ChartMogul’s own pricing FAQ, your plan upgrades automatically as your ARR grows. There’s no re-negotiation and no grandfathering. Cross from $980K to $1.05M ARR and your Starter bill steps from $119 to $165 on its own.
That auto-upgrade behavior is worth pricing into your plan. Growing from $500K to $3M ARR takes Starter through three step-ups without you touching a settings page. Budget from the band you’ll be in at renewal, not the band you’re in today.
The free plan, and what it actually limits
The free plan is genuinely useful and genuinely bounded. You get it while your ARR stays under $120K, which works out to $10,000 in MRR. Above that line, you’re on a paid band.
The limits that bite before the revenue cap does: 3 team members and 1 billing source. A billing source is one connected system, so one Stripe account counts as one source. Run Stripe plus an App Store connection, or two Stripe accounts, and you need a paid plan regardless of revenue.
For an early-stage Stripe SaaS under $10K MRR, free ChartMogul is one of the best deals in the category. Just know which of the three walls you’ll hit first.
The costs that don’t show up on the slider
Three line items change the real bill without changing the sticker price.
CRM Pro seats: $39 per user per month. ChartMogul’s built-in CRM has a paid tier priced per seat. A five-person sales team on CRM Pro adds $195 a month, which at $500K ARR is nearly three times the Starter subscription itself.
The monthly-versus-annual gap. The headline says annual billing saves 17 percent. Across the actual bands the gap ranges from about 14 to 19 percent, and every Pro band works out to almost exactly 16.7 percent. Either way, paying monthly at $10M ARR costs $1,800 more per year on Starter than the annual price.
The Startup Program. ChartMogul’s pricing page confirms a “$50 per month discount on any paid plan for 12 months” for qualifying early-stage startups. On the first paid band, that turns $69 Starter into $19. If you’re anywhere near eligible, apply before you subscribe.

What you’d actually pay at four revenue levels
Tables are abstract, so here are four worked examples on monthly billing, with the annual-billing price in parentheses. For context, each ends with what Mowt (our product) and Baremetrics charge at the same revenue, as of July 2026.
At $500K ARR (about $42K MRR)
You’re at the top edge of the first paid band. Starter is $69 per month ($59 annual), Pro is $119 ($99). This is ChartMogul at its most competitive, and with the Startup Program discount it can be near-free for a year.
Same revenue elsewhere: Mowt Growth is $149 per month, Baremetrics Growth is $255.
At $1M ARR (about $83K MRR)
One band up. Starter is $119 per month ($99 annual), Pro is $209 ($174). Still cheaper than most of the field, though the CRM seat math starts to matter if your team is growing too.
Same revenue elsewhere: Mowt Scale is $249 per month, Baremetrics Growth is $255.
At $3M ARR ($250K MRR)
Starter is $295 per month ($245 annual), Pro is $539 ($449). This is where the band model stops feeling cheap. You’ve crossed three breakpoints since $500K ARR and your Starter bill has grown 4.3x.
Same revenue elsewhere: Mowt Pro is $349 per month, Baremetrics Growth is still $255.
At $10M ARR (about $833K MRR)
The last published band. Starter is $849 per month ($699 annual), Pro is $1,439 ($1,199). Beyond this you’re in Enterprise territory with a floor of $19,900 per year, which is $1,658 per month at minimum.
Same revenue elsewhere: Baremetrics Scale is $1,152 per month, and Mowt is custom Enterprise pricing above $500K MRR.
The pattern across the four: ChartMogul wins clearly at the low end, roughly ties the field in the middle, and lands at the premium end of the pure-analytics category once you pass $3M ARR. Whether that premium is worth it depends mostly on whether you need its multi-source consolidation and CRM.
Why other sites quote completely different ChartMogul prices
Search for ChartMogul pricing and you’ll find pages claiming it costs “$100 per month plus $25 per $10K of MRR.” That was real once. It’s the retired Launch, Scale, and Volume model, where the bill was a base fee plus a metered per-revenue charge.
ChartMogul later replaced that with the current structure: Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise, priced by ARR band on the slider. The metered model is gone, but review aggregators and old listicles never re-verified, so the stale numbers keep getting scraped and republished.
There’s a second layer of confusion on top. Even sites that know about the current model tend to quote “$59 to $499” for Starter, which mixes the annual-billing entry price with an outdated ceiling. As of July 2026, the live page shows Starter topping out at $849 monthly ($699 annual) before Enterprise. If a price you read elsewhere disagrees with the table above, check the date on the page you read it on.
Three alternatives, one line each
If you’re pricing ChartMogul against the field, the longer breakdowns live in our ChartMogul alternatives guide and the subscription analytics category roundup. The short version:
- Baremetrics starts at $75 per month with no free tier; the full picture, including its $129 add-ons, is in our Baremetrics pricing explainer.
- Mowt (ours) starts at $79 per month, Stripe-only, with realtime webhook updates and native mobile apps.
- ProfitWell Metrics is free, but per Paddle’s positioning it’s aimed at businesses that bill through Paddle, and data refreshes on a roughly 90-minute cycle.
Where Mowt fits, honestly
Full disclosure again: Mowt is our product, so grade this paragraph accordingly. If your billing is multi-source, or you’re under $120K ARR and want free, ChartMogul is the better fit and we’d rather say so than have you churn later.
Mowt makes sense in one specific case: your billing runs entirely on Stripe and you want live data instead of sync intervals. Plans start at $79 per month up to $15K MRR, annual billing takes 20 percent off, dashboards update in seconds off Stripe webhooks, and the iOS and Android apps carry full feature parity.
Dunning is coming soon, not shipped. There’s a 7-day trial with no card, which is enough time to run it next to ChartMogul and compare the numbers yourself.
ChartMogul pricing FAQ
Is ChartMogul free?
Yes, under $120K ARR ($10K MRR). The free plan includes the core metrics with 3 team members and 1 billing source. Cross any of those three limits and you move to a paid band, starting at $69 per month billed monthly or $59 on annual billing, as of July 2026.
How does ChartMogul calculate my ARR?
From your connected billing data: it normalizes active recurring subscriptions to a monthly value and multiplies by 12. One-time charges and non-recurring fees don’t count toward your band. Because the calculation runs on live billing data, your band reflects your actual current run-rate, not a self-reported figure.
What happens when I outgrow my ARR band?
Your plan upgrades automatically, per ChartMogul’s pricing FAQ. Cross a breakpoint ($500K, $1M, $1.5M, $3M, $5M, $7M, or $10M ARR) and the next band’s price applies without any action from you. Budget against the band you expect to be in, not the one you’re in today.
What counts as a billing source?
One connected billing system is one source. A single Stripe account is one source; adding Paddle, an app store, or a second Stripe account makes two. The free plan allows exactly 1 source, which in practice pushes multi-platform businesses onto paid plans before the revenue cap does.
How much is ChartMogul Enterprise?
Enterprise starts at $19,900 per year, which is about $1,658 per month, and applies above $10M ARR. Pricing beyond the floor is quote-based. The last published self-serve prices are the $7M to $10M band: Starter at $849 per month and Pro at $1,439, as of July 2026.
Is there a ChartMogul startup discount?
Yes. The pricing page confirms a “$50 per month discount on any paid plan for 12 months” for qualifying early-stage startups. On the first paid band that cuts Starter from $69 to $19 per month for a year. Eligibility criteria apply, so check the program terms before you count on it.
ChartMogul vs Baremetrics: which is cheaper at my revenue?
Below about $1M ARR, ChartMogul, and under $120K ARR it’s free while Baremetrics starts at $75. Between $1M and $3.6M ARR, Baremetrics Growth at $255 undercuts ChartMogul’s upper Starter bands. Enter your MRR in the cost calculator to see both at your exact revenue.
Why do some sites say ChartMogul costs $100/mo plus $25 per $10K MRR?
That’s the retired Launch, Scale, and Volume model, a base fee plus a metered per-revenue charge. ChartMogul replaced it with the current Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise bands, but old reviews and aggregator listings were never re-verified. Trust the live pricing page, or the July 2026 table above, over undated third-party quotes.
