Best Subscription Analytics Software in 2026 (By Billing Stack)

Matt Smith
By Matt Smith, Co-Founder & CEO · Updated July 2026
The short answer

If you bill through Stripe only, Mowt ($79/month, realtime) is the pick. If revenue arrives from several billing systems or you are scaling past $1M ARR, ChartMogul (free under $120K ARR) fits better. For App Store and Play in-app subscriptions, RevenueCat (free under $2,500 tracked revenue/month) is the default. The rest of this page tells you which camp you are shopping in.

Most "best analytics" lists rank nine tools against each other as if they were interchangeable. They are not. Every subscription analytics product in 2026 falls into one of four camps: pure analytics layers that read your billing data, billing suites with analytics bolted on, mobile subscription platforms with charts attached, and DTC tools built for Shopify carts.

The camps barely compete with each other. A pure analytics layer like ChartMogul or Mowt connects read-only to billing you already run and turns it into MRR, churn and cohort views. A billing suite like Maxio or Chargebee is a system you move your invoicing onto; its analytics describe data it already owns. RevenueCat is an SDK your app ships with. Buying across camp lines is how teams end up paying $599/month for a billing engine when the actual problem was a dashboard.

The fourth camp, DTC subscription tools like Recharge and Loop, measures box-and-carton subscriptions on Shopify. If that is you, none of the nine tools below is your answer, and we say so rather than padding the list.

So this guide groups instead of ranking. Within each camp we compare directly; across camps we tell you which one your billing stack puts you in. In our July 2026 pricing pass, the same question ("what does a dashboard cost at $50K MRR?") returned answers from $0 to $599/month depending on camp, which is exactly why the grouping matters more than a rank number.

How we evaluated

We priced every tool from its live vendor pricing page in the first week of July 2026, and pulled data-refresh intervals from each vendor's own documentation rather than marketing copy (Baremetrics documents a 2-hour sync, ChartMogul a roughly 10-minute processing window for Stripe, Paddle up to 90 minutes for ProfitWell).

For camps we do not compete in (billing suites, mobile platforms) we relied on vendor docs plus complaints that recur across multiple G2 and Capterra reviewers, and we flag every unpublished price as unpublished instead of guessing. Mowt is our product; its entry is labelled and carries a real limitation.

Pure analytics layer

1.

Mowt

Best pure analytics layer for Stripe-only SaaS
Our product

Mowt is our product (grade this entry accordingly), and it makes one narrow claim: for SaaS that bills entirely through Stripe, nothing here is fresher or more phone-friendly.

Mowt belongs to the pure-analytics camp in its strictest form: it reads your Stripe account through webhooks and does nothing else. That single-source bet is what buys the freshness. A cancellation or failed charge reaches the dashboard in seconds, because there is no sync cycle to wait out, no nightly batch, no multi-source normalization queue.

The second thing the narrow scope buys is mobile apps that are not an afterthought. The iOS and Android apps carry the full feature set: MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, NRR, cohorts, segmentation and forecasting. Across the nine tools on this page, that full-parity pairing exists nowhere else.

Setup is a read-only Stripe OAuth that backfills your billing history in minutes, and 500+ founders currently track over $1B in revenue on it. Pricing is a flat MRR tier, not a percentage of revenue, so the bill does not creep between plan boundaries.

The limitation is the same fact as the pitch: Stripe only. Paddle, Chargebee, App Store or multi-source consolidation rule Mowt out immediately, and dunning tools are coming soon rather than shipped. We are also younger than ChartMogul and Baremetrics, with a smaller review footprint, so run the 7-day trial against your Stripe dashboard and check the numbers yourself.

PricingStartup $79/month to $15k MRR, then Growth $149, Scale $249, Pro $349, Business $499 by MRR tier; Enterprise custom; 20% off annual; 7-day trial, no card (July 2026, details on the pricing page).
Start 7-day free trial
Where it shines
 • Webhook-realtime data with no batch cycle documented or needed
 • iOS and Android apps with full feature parity, unique on this list
 • Flat MRR-tier pricing rather than a percentage of revenue
 • Read-only Stripe OAuth setup with full history backfill in minutes
Where it falls short
 • Stripe-only: no Paddle, Chargebee, App Store or multi-source support
 • Dunning and churn-recovery tools are on the roadmap, not shipped
 • Smaller independent review footprint than the camp incumbents; verify against Stripe during the trial
2. ChartMogul

ChartMogul

Best for consolidating several billing sources

ChartMogul is the camp's heavyweight: it merges Stripe, Paddle, Chargebee, Recurly, app stores and more into one normalized MRR figure, free until $120K ARR.

When revenue arrives from more than one system, ChartMogul stops being one option among several and becomes the shortlist. Its whole design assumes messy, mixed billing: 25+ source integrations feed a normalization engine, and the cohort and segmentation tooling on top is the deepest in the pure-analytics camp. A built-in CRM ties revenue data to deals, which none of its direct rivals attempt.

The free plan under $120K ARR (3 team members, 1 billing source) is the most generous on-ramp here, and a Startup Program takes $50/month off any paid plan for 12 months for qualifying early-stage companies, per the pricing page.

Two things to price in. Freshness: ChartMogul's help docs describe Stripe data as realtime with a roughly 10-minute processing window, and other sources sync hourly or slower. And the slider: paid pricing scales with your ARR band, Starter from $69 to $849/month billed monthly ($59 to $699 on annual billing), and their FAQ confirms the plan auto-upgrades as your ARR grows. Crossing a band raises your bill without anyone clicking anything.

G2 reviewers have flagged repeated price rises over the years, and some mention sync discrepancies against the source billing system that needed manual reconciliation. Neither is disqualifying; both belong in the spreadsheet before you commit.

PricingFree under $120K ARR; Starter $69 to $849/month billed monthly ($59 to $699 on annual billing); Pro $119 to $1,439/month ($99 to $1,199 annual); Enterprise from $19,900/year; 17% annual discount headline (verified from the pricing page, July 2026).
Where it shines
 • Normalizes 25+ billing sources into one MRR view, the widest coverage in the camp
 • Deepest cohort analysis and segmentation of any pure analytics layer
 • Free under $120K ARR, plus a $50/month x 12 startup discount on paid plans
 • Built-in CRM connects revenue metrics to pipeline
Where it falls short
 • Roughly 10-minute processing window on Stripe, hourly or slower elsewhere, per ChartMogul's help docs
 • ARR-band slider pricing auto-upgrades your tier as you grow; Starter alone runs to $849/month billed monthly
 • G2 reviewers report repeated price increases and occasional sync discrepancies needing manual reconciliation
3. Baremetrics

Baremetrics

Best for shipped dunning alongside the dashboard

Baremetrics is the camp's veteran, and the only pure analytics layer here with a real, shipped failed-payment recovery product attached.

Running since 2013, Baremetrics covers Stripe, Braintree, Chargebee, Recurly, Google Play and App Store data, and its Recover add-on chases failed payments with campaigns that vendors half its age still have not built. Cancellation Insights, a second add-on, surveys churning customers on the way out. If dunning is part of why you want analytics, this entry is doing double duty.

The pricing model is flat per ARR band: Launch $75/month to $360K ARR, Growth $255 to $3.6M, Scale $1,152 above that, with a 35% annual discount that is the largest on this page. There is no free tier.

The trade-offs are documented rather than rumored. Baremetrics' own help center describes a 2-hour data sync cycle, so it is the slowest of the three paid pure-analytics tools here. Each add-on costs $129/month, which puts the full suite at base plus $258 and turns the $75 headline into $333 in practice. And mobile stops at an iPhone app; there is nothing on the Play Store as of July 2026.

For a team that wants one vendor for metrics, dunning and exit surveys, and checks the dashboard a few times a week rather than hourly, the package still holds together well.

PricingLaunch $75/month to $360K ARR, Growth $255 to $3.6M ARR, Scale $1,152 above; Recover +$129/month, Cancellation Insights +$129/month; 35% off annual; free trial, no free tier (as of July 2026).
Where it shines
 • Recover is real, shipped dunning, not a roadmap line
 • Covers Stripe, Braintree, Chargebee, Recurly and app-store sources
 • 35% annual discount, the largest of any tool on this page
 • Twelve years of operating history and a mature feature set
Where it falls short
 • 2-hour data sync cycle, per Baremetrics' own help center
 • Add-ons stack: Recover and Cancellation Insights are $129/month each, so the full suite is base + $258
 • iOS app only; no Android presence as of July 2026
 • No free tier, unlike ChartMogul and ProfitWell in the same camp
4. ProfitWell Metrics (by Paddle)

ProfitWell Metrics (by Paddle)

Best free dashboard if you bill through Paddle

ProfitWell Metrics is free, but in 2026 Paddle positions it as a product for Paddle billing customers, which changes who should shortlist it.

Paddle acquired ProfitWell for $200M in 2022 and has kept Metrics free ever since, as the analytics face of its billing platform. The dashboard itself remains solid: MRR, churn, LTV, ARPU and cohort views, plus benchmarking against a large panel of subscription companies, all at $0.

The qualifier is the direction of travel. Per Paddle's positioning as of 2026, Metrics is pitched to companies on Paddle billing, and development energy visibly flows toward the paid Paddle stack. Capterra reviewers describe an interface that has barely changed in years and support that is slow to respond, which is what maintenance mode looks like from the outside.

Freshness is batch, not live: Paddle's docs put manual and API-driven changes at up to 90 minutes before they reflect in dashboards. The iOS and Android apps exist, but reviewers on G2 and Capterra report payment alerts that fail to arrive.

The honest read: if you already bill through Paddle, use it, it is free and integrated. If you are on Stripe and choosing a long-term analytics home in 2026, the incentives are not pointed at you.

PricingFree (Metrics). Paddle's paid billing and retention products are quoted separately and priced as a share of transactions (as of July 2026).
Where it shines
 • Free, with no feature paywall on the Metrics product
 • Industry benchmarking built in at no cost
 • iOS and Android apps, rare in the free tier of this category
 • Natural fit if your billing already runs on Paddle
Where it falls short
 • Up to 90-minute delay for manual and API changes, per Paddle's docs
 • Positioned for Paddle billing customers as of 2026; Stripe users are not the target roadmap audience
 • Capterra reviewers describe a UI unchanged for years and slow support
 • Mobile payment alerts unreliable, per G2 and Capterra reviews

Billing suites with analytics

5. Maxio

Maxio

Best for B2B invoicing plus revenue recognition

Maxio is a billing and rev-rec platform whose metrics module rides along; buy it for the billing problem, never for the dashboard alone.

Maxio (the SaaSOptics and Chargify merger) opens the billing-suite camp because it is the one mid-market teams actually cross-shop against analytics tools. It handles usage-based billing, GAAP/IFRS revenue recognition and contract management, and its SaaS metrics reporting is genuinely respected on the finance side; it holds G2 Leader placements in multiple subscription-management categories.

The camp rule applies in full: you adopt Maxio by moving invoicing onto it, and the analytics then describe data Maxio already owns. Entry is $599/month for the Grow plan up to $100K MRR per Maxio's pricing page, with a custom-quoted Scale plan above that and implementation fees that may apply.

G2 and Capterra reviewers repeatedly describe long implementations for smaller companies and slow support resolution, and some report metric and invoice accuracy problems that took sustained vendor attention to fix. There are no mobile apps.

If your contracts have outgrown what Stripe alone can express (ramps, multi-year terms, milestone billing), Maxio is solving a problem no pure analytics layer touches. If you just want to watch MRR move, $599/month buys the wrong product.

PricingGrow $599/month up to $100K MRR; Scale custom-quoted above that; implementation fees may apply (per maxio.com/pricing, July 2026).
Where it shines
 • Billing, GAAP/IFRS revenue recognition and SaaS metrics in one contract
 • Strong finance-team reporting; G2 Leader placements in subscription management
 • Unlimited seats with no per-user pricing
Where it falls short
 • Reviewers on G2 and Capterra report long implementations and slow support for smaller companies
 • $599/month entry prices out the pure-dashboard use case entirely
 • Custom quote required above $100K MRR; implementation fees may apply
 • No mobile apps
6. Chargebee (RevenueStory)

Chargebee (RevenueStory)

Best analytics you may already own

RevenueStory is Chargebee's built-in analytics module, and for existing Chargebee customers on the right plan it makes a separate analytics purchase unnecessary.

Per Chargebee's docs, RevenueStory ships 150+ ready-made reports covering MRR, churn, activations and payments, rendered as KPIs, charts, tables or cohorts, plus a Report Builder for custom reports, metric goals with alerts, and scheduled dashboard emails. As bolted-on analytics go, it is one of the more complete implementations in the billing-suite camp.

The catch is plan gating: Chargebee's documentation states RevenueStory is available only on the Performance and Enterprise plans. Chargebee's pricing page lists Starter as free up to $250K in cumulative billing (then a 0.75% overage fee) and Performance at $7,188/year for up to $100K of billing per month, so the analytics module effectively starts at $599/month worth of billing platform.

That math writes the recommendation for you. Already on Performance or Enterprise? Open RevenueStory before paying anyone else; the reports read your live billing data with no integration to maintain. On Chargebee Starter, a pure analytics layer that connects to Chargebee (ChartMogul, Baremetrics) is far cheaper than upgrading plans for the reports.

And nobody should migrate their billing onto Chargebee to obtain analytics. That is the camp-crossing mistake this page exists to prevent.

PricingIncluded with Chargebee Performance ($7,188/year for up to $100K billing/month, 0.75% overage) and Enterprise (custom); not available on the free Starter plan (per chargebee.com/pricing and docs, July 2026).
Where it shines
 • 150+ prebuilt reports plus a custom Report Builder, per Chargebee's docs
 • Reads live billing data directly; no integration or sync to maintain
 • Goals, alerts and scheduled dashboard emails included
Where it falls short
 • Gated to Performance and Enterprise plans, per Chargebee's docs; Starter customers do not get it
 • Performance costs $7,188/year, so the effective analytics entry price is a $599/month billing plan
 • Only sees revenue that flows through Chargebee; anything billed elsewhere is invisible to it
7. Recurly

Recurly

Best for enterprise billing with analytics included

Recurly bundles subscriber analytics into an enterprise-leaning billing platform, with the deeper reporting reserved for its top plan.

Recurly's analytics section covers MRR, billings, recovered revenue and churn, with the churn analysis split into voluntary and involuntary causes, a distinction its dunning heritage earns honestly. Per docs.recurly.com, the dashboards update dynamically and the churn tooling benchmarks you against other Recurly merchants.

Pricing follows the billing-suite pattern with a percentage twist. Per Recurly's pricing page, Starter runs $249/month plus 0.9% of billing volume with the first $40K of monthly billings included; All-Access is quoted as "as low as" under 1% of billing volume, billed annually, with a $1M billing-volume minimum. The pricing page also places custom reporting and additional analytics in All-Access, so the fuller analytics story sits behind the bigger contract.

Two documented limits worth knowing: the analytics dashboards cover up to the past 18 months of data, and churn is not computed for subscriptions that have not spanned a full month, both per Recurly's own docs.

Same verdict shape as Chargebee: already on Recurly, use what you are paying for, and add a pure layer only if the 18-month window or report depth blocks you. Not on Recurly? Its analytics are not a reason to move your billing.

PricingStarter $249/month + 0.9% of billing volume (first $40K/month of billings included); All-Access "as low as" under 1% of volume, billed annually, $1M volume minimum (per recurly.com/pricing, July 2026).
Where it shines
 • Churn analysis splits voluntary and involuntary causes, backed by strong dunning tooling
 • Benchmarking against other Recurly merchants built in
 • Analytics included with the billing platform, no separate contract
Where it falls short
 • Dashboards cover up to the past 18 months, per Recurly's docs, which limits long-horizon cohort work
 • Custom reporting and additional analytics sit in All-Access, which carries a $1M billing-volume minimum per the pricing page
 • Percentage-of-billing pricing ($249/month + 0.9% on Starter) grows with revenue by design
8. Z

Zuora

Best for enterprise quote-to-revenue, where analytics is a byproduct

Zuora is enterprise monetization infrastructure (CPQ, billing, revenue recognition) whose reporting exists to serve that machinery, not to compete with dashboard tools.

Zuora sits at the far end of the billing-suite camp: it powers subscription operations for large enterprises, handling complex pricing catalogs, quoting and rev-rec compliance at a scale none of the other eight tools here addresses. It went private in a Silver Lake-led deal completed in early 2025.

Its reporting can slice revenue by subscription segment, geography or discount, but reviewers on G2 describe the built-in reporting as cumbersome and hard to customize, and the platform overall as requiring dedicated billing or RevOps expertise to run. That is not a knock on Zuora so much as a category note: the analytics is an instrument panel for the billing engine, not the product.

There is no published pricing; everything is quote-based, which reviewers note makes budgeting impossible without a sales cycle. Anyone reading a "best subscription analytics" list is almost certainly not Zuora's buyer, and we include it mainly so the camp map is complete.

If your company is large enough that Zuora is genuinely on the table, your analytics evaluation will run through a data warehouse and a BI team anyway.

PricingUnpublished; all plans are custom-quoted through sales (as of July 2026). No self-serve or entry-level tier exists.
Where it shines
 • Handles enterprise-scale pricing catalogs, CPQ and revenue recognition no analytics tool touches
 • Revenue reporting by segment, geography and discount dimensions
Where it falls short
 • Quote-only pricing with no published tiers, which G2 reviewers note makes comparison and budgeting difficult
 • Reviewers on G2 describe built-in reporting as cumbersome and hard to customize
 • Requires dedicated billing or RevOps expertise; steep learning curve per G2 reviews

Mobile subscription platforms

9. RevenueCat

RevenueCat

Best for App Store and Google Play subscriptions

RevenueCat is the default infrastructure for mobile in-app subscriptions, and its bundled Charts are the analytics most app businesses should start with.

RevenueCat occupies a camp of one on this list. It is an SDK plus backend that handles App Store, Google Play and web purchase infrastructure (receipt validation, entitlements, paywalls, experiments), and analytics comes bundled: charts for MRR, active subscriptions, trial conversion, churn and cohort retention across both stores in one place. Pure web-analytics tools cannot see this data at all; app-store revenue does not flow through Stripe subscriptions.

Pricing, per revenuecat.com/pricing as of July 2026, is free up to $2,500 in monthly tracked revenue, then 1% of what you track, with custom Enterprise deals above that. Simple, but it compounds: 1% is $500/month at $50K MTR and $1,000 at $100K, more than any pure analytics layer charges at the same revenue. You are paying for the purchase infrastructure, though, not the charts.

Freshness improved materially with Charts v3: per RevenueCat's docs, most subscription metrics now update in real time as events arrive, with some metrics (and larger accounts) cached for 1 to 2 hours.

When to pair it with something else: if you run web billing through Stripe alongside the apps, RevenueCat's charts cover what it processes, so hybrid businesses usually end up with RevenueCat for store revenue plus a web-side tool, reconciling totals in a spreadsheet or warehouse. Pure mobile apps rarely need anything beyond the built-in charts.

PricingFree up to $2,500 monthly tracked revenue; above that, 1% of tracked revenue; Enterprise custom with volume discounts (per revenuecat.com/pricing, July 2026).
Where it shines
 • The only tool here that natively covers App Store and Google Play subscription revenue
 • Charts v3 updates most metrics in real time, per RevenueCat's docs
 • Free under $2,500 monthly tracked revenue, so testing it costs nothing
 • Analytics bundled with purchase infrastructure you likely need anyway
Where it falls short
 • 1% of tracked revenue scales past every pure analytics layer's price as MTR grows
 • Some metrics and larger accounts are cached 1 to 2 hours, per the docs
 • Web/Stripe SaaS without a mobile app has no reason to be here; wrong camp

Lightweight and niche picks

Putler
Putler

Putler is the budget pick for mixed SaaS-plus-eCommerce revenue: it pulls Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, Amazon and 17+ other channels into one dashboard from $20/month at up to $10K MRR, with metered pricing that adjusts to your actual revenue each month (per putler.com/pricing, July 2026). Capterra reviewers note the subscription metrics are weaker than its eCommerce features, and payments can take 15 to 30 minutes to appear. See the Putler comparison for the long version.

Fincome
Fincome

Fincome treats subscription analytics as a finance-ops job: automated MRR, churn and renewal calculations with accounting-stack integrations (Pennylane, NetSuite) that founder-dashboard tools skip. It bills annually only, from $4,500/year under $1M ARR to $15,000/year at $10M (fincome.co, July 2026), which points it at European finance teams rather than early-stage startups. Full breakdown in the Fincome comparison.

Chartsy
Chartsy

Chartsy swaps dashboards for a chat box: ask "MRR by plan, last 6 months" against Stripe, Paddle or BigCommerce data and get a chart back. The bet is interesting, but paid pricing beyond a "from $19/month" reference is not publicly listed as of July 2026, its own help docs describe hourly sync for some sources, and the independent review footprint is close to zero. Try the free tier (10 prompts/month) before relying on it anywhere that matters.

Run the numbers

What analytics costs at $10K, $50K and $100K MRR

At $10K MRR ($120K ARR): ChartMogul is still free, ProfitWell Metrics is free if you bill through Paddle, Baremetrics Launch is $75/month, Mowt Startup is $79, and Putler undercuts everyone at $20. At this stage the money is a rounding error; choose on freshness and mobile access instead.

At $50K MRR ($600K ARR) the camps separate. Mowt Growth is $149/month, ChartMogul Starter is $119 billed monthly ($99 on annual), Baremetrics Growth jumps to $255, RevenueCat would take $500 (1% of tracked revenue), and Maxio starts at $599. At $100K MRR: Mowt Scale $249, ChartMogul Starter $165 billed monthly, Baremetrics stays $255, Maxio stays $599 (all July 2026 pricing).

Those are list prices at exactly three revenue points; band edges move the answer a lot. Put your own number into the analytics cost calculator to see every tool priced at your MRR, including annual-billing discounts and Baremetrics add-ons.

Decision framework

Your billing stack decides your shortlist

Skip the feature matrices on the first pass. Where your revenue is billed eliminates most of this list before any comparison starts, so route yourself first and compare second.

Stripe only: Mowt if you want realtime data and full mobile apps, Baremetrics if shipped dunning matters more than freshness. ChartMogul only earns the multi-source premium once you actually have multiple sources, though its free tier under $120K ARR is a fine no-cost start.

Paddle: take ProfitWell Metrics, it is free and made by your billing vendor. ChartMogul is the upgrade path when you need deeper cohorts or your stack stops being Paddle-only.

Several billing sources (Stripe plus Paddle, PayPal, app stores, invoicing): ChartMogul, full stop, with Fincome as the alternative for European finance teams past $1M ARR who live in Pennylane or NetSuite.

Mobile in-app subscriptions: RevenueCat. If you also sell on the web through Stripe, expect to pair it with a web-side tool rather than finding one product that sees everything.

Already on Chargebee, Recurly, Maxio or Zuora: open the analytics you are paying for before buying anything. Add a pure layer only when you hit a documented wall, like Recurly's 18-month dashboard window or RevenueStory's plan gating.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between subscription analytics and product analytics like Mixpanel or Amplitude?

Subscription analytics reads billing data and answers revenue questions: MRR, churn, LTV, cohort retention by plan. Product analytics reads in-app event data and answers behavior questions: feature adoption, funnels, session paths. Mature SaaS teams run one of each; neither category substitutes for the other.

Do I need a separate analytics tool if I already use Chargebee, Maxio or Recurly for billing?

Usually not at first. Each suite includes analytics (Chargebee's RevenueStory, Recurly's dashboards, Maxio's metrics), so start with what you pay for. Add a pure analytics layer only when you hit a documented gap, such as Recurly's 18-month dashboard window or RevenueStory being gated to Performance and Enterprise plans.

Should a mobile subscription app use RevenueCat's charts or a dedicated analytics tool?

Start with RevenueCat's built-in Charts; since v3 most metrics update in real time per its docs, and pure web tools cannot see App Store or Play revenue anyway. Add a second tool only if you also bill web customers through Stripe, in which case pair RevenueCat with a Stripe-side tool.

Can these tools combine multiple billing sources like Stripe plus Paddle plus the App Store?

Only some. ChartMogul is built for exactly this, normalizing 25+ sources into one MRR figure, and Baremetrics covers several sources too. Mowt is deliberately Stripe-only, ProfitWell is Paddle-oriented, and billing suites only see their own data. Multi-source consolidation is the single strongest reason to pick ChartMogul.

Is Stripe's built-in Billing analytics enough before paying for a tool?

For a while, yes. Stripe's dashboard shows MRR and basic churn, and it is free. Teams outgrow it when they need cohort retention, plan-level segmentation, forecasting, or metrics on a phone. If you check revenue weekly and just want the headline number, defer the purchase.

Is there a genuinely free subscription analytics tool in 2026?

Two real ones. ChartMogul is free under $120K ARR (3 team members, one billing source), and ProfitWell Metrics is free with the caveat that Paddle now positions it for its own billing customers. RevenueCat is also free under $2,500 in monthly tracked revenue for mobile apps.

How much does subscription analytics cost at $10K, $50K or $100K MRR?

As of July 2026: at $10K MRR, $0 to $79/month. At $50K MRR, roughly $119 (ChartMogul monthly billing) to $255 (Baremetrics Growth), with Mowt at $149. At $100K MRR, $165 to $599. The cost calculator prices every tool at your exact MRR.

Why don't my analytics tool's MRR numbers match Stripe?

Because MRR is a modeled metric, not a Stripe field. Tools differ on how they spread annual plans across months and treat discounts, proration, refunds and trials, so small gaps against Stripe's dashboard are expected. Our guide to calculating MRR walks through the definitions.
