Baremetrics Pricing (2026): What You Will Actually Pay
TL;DR: As of July 2026, Baremetrics has three plans priced by annual recurring revenue: Launch at $75 per month up to $360K ARR, Growth at $255 up to $3.6M ARR, and Scale at $1,152 above that. Recover and Cancellation Insights are add-ons at $129 per month each, so a full suite runs $333 to $1,410. Annual billing takes 35 percent off. There is no free plan, but the trial does not require a card.
Prices in this article were verified against the live baremetrics.com/pricing page on July 2, 2026.
If those numbers surprise you, you are not alone. Baremetrics has changed its pricing model at least twice, and a lot of review sites still quote figures from a model that no longer exists. This post walks through the history first, because the history is the reason nobody agrees on what Baremetrics costs.
The three eras of Baremetrics pricing
Most pricing confusion around Baremetrics traces back to one fact: the numbers you find on third-party sites often describe a model the company retired. Here is the timeline as best we can reconstruct it from archived pricing pages and the review sites that still quote each era.
Era one: pay by MRR
For most of its early life, Baremetrics billed on your monthly recurring revenue. Your plan tier was a function of your MRR band, and your bill stepped up as revenue grew. Simple, and roughly how most of the category still works today. If you see very old articles quoting Baremetrics at double-digit monthly prices for small accounts, they are describing this era.
Era two: the modular per-product model
Later, Baremetrics unbundled itself into separately priced products, each scaling with your MRR. Under that retired model, which some review sites still show as current, the published ranges looked like this: Metrics at roughly $208 to $249 per month, Recover at $158 to $189, Cancellation Insights at $108 to $129, and Forecast+ at a flat $1,000 per month.
So if a comparison site tells you Baremetrics starts at $208 or $249 per month, that is the stale modular pricing, not what the pricing page says today. Treat any Baremetrics figure you read (including ours) as dated the moment it lacks an as-of stamp.
Era three: today’s ARR tiers
The current model, live as of July 2026, is three flat tiers keyed to your ARR. Metrics is the base product again, and Recover and Cancellation Insights became fixed-price add-ons rather than MRR-scaled products. That is the model the rest of this article prices out.
What Baremetrics costs today
Here is the current plan table, verified July 2, 2026. Note the integration limits, which matter more than they look: Launch connects one billing source, Growth two, and Scale removes the cap.
| Plan | Monthly price | ARR band | Billing integrations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $75 | Up to $360K ARR | 1 |
| Growth | $255 | Up to $3.6M ARR | 2 |
| Scale | $1,152 | Above $3.6M ARR | Unlimited |
Three things stand out. First, there is no free tier, which separates Baremetrics from ChartMogul (free under $120K ARR) and ProfitWell Metrics (free, for Paddle customers). Second, the jumps between tiers are large, and we will come back to that. Third, these are base prices. The features Baremetrics is best known for beyond core metrics cost extra.
The add-on math: what the full suite really costs
Recover (failed-payment recovery) and Cancellation Insights (exit surveys and churn reasons) are each $129 per month on top of your base plan, per the pricing page as of July 2026. Neither is bundled into any tier.
That changes the arithmetic considerably. If you want the product most people picture when they think of Baremetrics, meaning metrics plus dunning plus cancellation data, your bill is base plus $258:
| Plan | Base only | With Recover | Full suite (both add-ons) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $75 | $204 | $333 |
| Growth | $255 | $384 | $513 |
| Scale | $1,152 | $1,281 | $1,410 |
On Launch, the add-ons cost more than three times the plan itself. That is not a criticism of the products, Recover in particular can pay for itself if it rescues a few failed payments a month. But when you compare Baremetrics against tools that quote one all-in price, compare the column you would actually buy.

Worked examples at four revenue levels
ARR bands make more sense translated into MRR. Here is the Baremetrics bill at four common revenue points, with a one-line market check at each. Disclosure before the comparisons start: Mowt is our product, so weigh those lines accordingly. All figures are monthly list prices as of July 2026.
At $25K MRR ($300K ARR)
You fit inside Launch: $75 per month base, or $333 with both add-ons. For context at the same revenue, Mowt’s Growth plan is $149 and ChartMogul’s Starter is $69 per month ($59 on annual billing).
At $50K MRR ($600K ARR)
You crossed $360K ARR, so you are on Growth: $255 base, $513 full suite. At the same point, Mowt is $149 on its Growth plan and ChartMogul Starter runs $119 per month ($99 annual).
At $100K MRR ($1.2M ARR)
Still Growth, since the band stretches to $3.6M ARR: $255 base, $513 full suite. Here Baremetrics is close to Mowt’s Scale plan at $249, while ChartMogul Starter is $165 per month ($139 annual).
Past $300K MRR ($3.6M+ ARR)
Once you cross $3.6M ARR you land on Scale: $1,152 base, $1,410 with both add-ons. At that size Mowt’s Business plan is $499, and ChartMogul runs $459 on Starter or $839 on Pro.
Baremetrics is the most expensive mainstream option at this level, though Scale does include unlimited integrations, which neither cheaper option matches. We priced ChartMogul’s full band table in the companion piece on ChartMogul’s pricing model.
The 35 percent annual discount
Baremetrics offers 35 percent off for annual billing, which is unusually generous. Most of this category discounts 15 to 20 percent (Mowt is 20, ChartMogul’s headline is 17).
Run the numbers and the tiers look very different paid annually:
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing (effective monthly) |
|---|---|---|
| Launch | $75 | About $49 |
| Growth | $255 | About $166 |
| Scale | $1,152 | About $749 |
At about $49 per month effective, annual Launch is one of the cheaper paid entry points in subscription analytics. One caveat we could not verify from the pricing page: whether the 35 percent also applies to the Recover and Cancellation Insights add-ons or only to the base plan. Confirm that with their sales team before you model a full-suite annual price, because it swings the total by around $1,000 a year.
The usual annual-billing trade-off applies too. You are prepaying for a year of a tool you may outgrow or replace, so run the free trial hard before committing.
The two cliffs to watch
Because Baremetrics uses three wide bands instead of many narrow ones, the price steps are steep. There are exactly two, and both are worth planning around.
The first cliff sits at $360K ARR, which is $30K MRR. Cross it and your base price goes from $75 to $255, a 3.4x jump overnight. A founder growing 10 percent a month hits that line fast, and the new price applies to your whole bill, not the revenue above the line.
The second sits at $3.6M ARR, or $300K MRR. That one takes you from $255 to $1,152, a 4.5x jump and an extra $10,764 a year at list price. If you are within a few months of either edge, price the next tier now, not when the invoice changes. Tools that step in smaller increments spread the same growth over five or six gentler rises instead of two big ones.
Alternatives worth pricing alongside it
Three quick anchors, all as of July 2026. ChartMogul is free under $120K ARR and starts at $69 per month after that, with the strongest multi-source coverage in the category. Mowt (ours) starts at $79 per month, Stripe-only, with realtime webhook updates and native mobile apps. ProfitWell Metrics is free but tied to Paddle billing.
For the full field, the Baremetrics alternatives guide walks through each option in depth, and there is a ranked version in the best Baremetrics alternatives roundup. If your shortlist is down to the two big incumbents, the Baremetrics vs ChartMogul referee page compares them without us in the frame.
A final honest note on where we sit in this. Mowt covers metrics, cohorts, and forecasting from a live Stripe connection at $79 to $499 per month, and it never has a 3.4x price cliff. But it is Stripe-only, and our dunning tools are coming soon rather than shipped today. If failed-payment recovery is the reason you are shopping, Baremetrics Recover is a real product now and that matters more than the price gap.
FAQ
How much does Baremetrics cost per month?
As of July 2026, Baremetrics costs $75, $255, or $1,152 per month depending on your ARR tier (Launch up to $360K ARR, Growth up to $3.6M, Scale above that). Recover and Cancellation Insights add $129 each, so the full suite runs $333 to $1,410 monthly at list price.
Does Baremetrics still charge by MRR?
No. Baremetrics retired its MRR-scaled pricing. The current model, live as of July 2026, uses three flat tiers keyed to annual recurring revenue, and your price only changes when you cross $360K or $3.6M ARR. Older articles describing prices that rise with every MRR step are quoting a discontinued model.
How much are Recover and Cancellation Insights?
Each add-on costs $129 per month on top of your base plan, per the Baremetrics pricing page as of July 2026. They are flat prices, not scaled to revenue, and neither is included in any tier. Both together add $258 per month, which more than quadruples the cost of the Launch plan.
Is there a free plan or free trial?
There is no free tier. Baremetrics does offer a free trial, and it does not require a credit card to start. If a free plan is a hard requirement, ChartMogul is free under $120K ARR and ProfitWell Metrics is free for revenue billed through Paddle, each with its own limits.
How does the 35 percent annual discount work?
Paying annually cuts the list price by 35 percent, so Launch works out to about $49 per month, Growth about $166, and Scale about $749. The pricing page does not clearly state whether the discount extends to the $129 add-ons, so confirm that before modeling a full-suite annual cost.
What happens when my ARR crosses $360K or $3.6M?
You move up a tier and the new base price applies to your entire bill. Crossing $360K ARR moves you from $75 to $255 per month, and crossing $3.6M moves you from $255 to $1,152. Those are the only two price steps in the model, and both are steep, so budget ahead of them.
Which is cheaper at my revenue, Baremetrics or ChartMogul?
Below $120K ARR, ChartMogul wins outright because it is free there and Baremetrics starts at $75. Between roughly $360K and $3.6M ARR the gap favors ChartMogul at most points, but bands do not align neatly. The cost calculator prices both at your exact MRR.
Why do review sites show $208 to $249 per month for Baremetrics?
Those figures come from the retired modular model, when Metrics, Recover, Cancellation Insights, and Forecast+ were each priced separately and scaled with MRR. Metrics alone ran roughly $208 to $249 under that scheme. Many review sites never updated after Baremetrics moved to today’s three flat ARR tiers.
